On July 23, 2008, I was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer, invasive ductal carcinoma, Stage II, and ductal carcinoma in situ, Stage O. This blog was started to keep my family and friends connected during my surgery and treatment. This is my story!

Bilateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction/soft tissue expanders, 9/12/08, NODES NEGATIVE!!!!
Revision surgery 9/26/08 right breast
IDC 3.5 cm mass Stage II/right breast
DCIS Stage 0/left breast
ER+/PR- HER2-
Chemotherapy 10/29/08
Soft tissue expander removed 11/3/08 right breast/infection
Cytoxan/Taxotere 4 rounds
One down, three to go! 10/29/08
Second round of chemo aborted due to reaction 11/28/08
Third round of chemo aborted due to reaction 12/3/08
On to Adriamycin-3 rounds

Chemo done!!!!! 02/05/09
Reconstructive surgery 04/28/09
I have boobs!!!
